Chris Kerr is currently the full-time news editor for leading games industry website Game Developer (formerly Gamasutra). His byline has appeared in a variety of high-profile print and digital publications including Edge, Stuff, Wireframe, Alphr, International Business Times, and PocketGamer.biz. Throughout his career, Chris has covered industry events around the world, including Gamescom, Gamelab Barcelona, Paris Games Week, Nordic Game, and Develop Brighton. He has also been invited to judge The Develop Star Awards, and has appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live as an industry expert to discuss breaking news.
In recent years, he also cut his teeth as a game writer after earning his first video game credits for his short story ‘Bitter Fruit,’ which was featured in acclaimed narrative adventure Pendragon in 2020, and First Touch Games’ mobile soccer adventure, Score! Hero 2.
