Industry Reporting

During my time as a games and technology journalist, I've been published by Game Developer (formerly Gamasutra), Stuff.tv, Alphr, International Business Times, PocketGamer.biz, and more. I've held down a number of daily newsbeats, with a focus on B2B reporting including coverage of financial reports and mergers and acquisitions, wide-ranging developer interviews with high-profile studios and creatives, long-form features and opinion pieces, and investigative journalism.

Print Journalism

My writing has been featured in leading print magazines including Edge, Stuff, Wireframe, and Apps Magazine.  For my Wireframe debut ‘Finding the Humanity in Game Design,’ I spoke with a handful of notable developers from around the globe to better understand the relationship between games and players. My work as a contributor for Stuff has comprised tech news and reviews, including a review of the next-generation Xbox Series S. My appearances in Edge include multiple articles for the esteemed magazine’s ‘HYPE’ section.

Game Writing and Short Fiction

I earned my first game writing credit in 2020 after a short story I wrote was featured in Pendragon, the latest release from acclaimed 80 Days and Heaven's Vault developer Inkle Studios. Players may encounter my interactive campfire tale 'Bitter Fruit' as they blaze through the celebrated Arthurian narrative strategy game. I then worked as a consultant on First Touch Games’ mobile soccer title Score! Hero 2, proofing thousands of text strings and offering edits where necessary. Outside of games, I’ve worked on a number of short stories, including ‘Modern Love,’ which I shared publicly this year.
